I am a technical writer with a background in human resources. I have my Canadian Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation and an instructor diploma. My passion is helping people learn new skills or simply complete a new task through the use of accurate and easy to follow training material. Nobody likes using cumbersome instructions or partaking in boring training programs. I help businesses create simple, creative and effective training and reference material that is actually helpful. I am currently looking for extra work on short term projects as a technical writer or instructional designer.

I am currently engaged on a project writing an online help system. I am working with another writer and together we are responsible for writing over 800 pages of help topics prior to the project Go Live. We work with numerous developers and Subject Matter Experts to obtain the required information for the help topics. We are currently using SharePoint Designer to write and manage the help topics.
