The Cougar (Short Story)
The Cougar is a short story I wrote that demonstrates my writing skill. Although many projects don\'t need creative writing, this story demonstrates my strong understanding of the English language and my ability to communicate with it—a valuable asset on many projects.
About Me
I am a software engineer and composer from Charleston, SC. As a software engineer, I've worked as a full-stack developer for 3 years bringing 10 mobile-centered projects from concept to production. Before that I worked for another 3 years building collaborative simulation software for architecting naval ships and the systems within them. In addition to these projects I've worked on countless side projects including but not limited to video games, websites, mobile and desktop applications. As a musician, I've been playing piano for 15 years, singing for 20, and composing for 8. I've written an uncountable number of pieces of music and released a full-length album that's available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and other major digital music distributors. I can provide high-quality music for just about any project, ranging from orchestral scores to electronic pieces.
