I have been building websites for more than 15 years. I discovered Macromedia Flash in 1997. Using Flash, I built a handful of simple websites. Shortly afterward I gravitated toward building “hybrid” websites, using Flash and HTML structures to create manageable products. By the early 2000s, I was creating fusion websites that incorporated various web portals such as galleries, forums, e-commerce, animation, and other forms of web content. It was shortly thereafter that I discovered content management systems (CMS). I started dabbling in PHPNuke, then graduated to other CMSs like Mambo and Wordpress. A friend of mine recommended Drupal to me eight years ago. At first I experimented with Drupal 4.7.x for a month. However, after Drupal 5.x was released, I realized the power and flexibility built into Drupal’s core design. I started using Drupal for all my projects.
