I am currently employed full time by a well respected London web design agency and have over 8 years experience in designing and developing websites, mainly in the e-commerce and CMS areas of web design. However, I often take on several interesting additional projects per month to be completed in my spare time over evenings and weekends with the intention of creating my own personal portfolio and agency. My primary skills are in design, integration and development specialising in XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and the LAMP infrastructure. I also have extensive experience with a number of the most popular open source products including OsCommerce, Magento, Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress and others Through the company that I work for I have worked on projects for small startup companies all the way up to Blue Chip corporations and enjoy the diversity and challenges that each new project brings. By clever selection of open source coding into clients projects I am able to produce the same high end sites at greatly reduced prices, and while professionalism may never be cheap, it can be affordable.
