bidz.com was developed with an intent to define an auction site that would facilitate buyers and sellers to connect together, and establish a standard platform. The website allows sellers to upload their products that they wish to auction and buyers can bid and keep track of items they bid for. A seller upon winning an auction can make payment online via PayPal, Credit Card or Affirm payment gateway. ASP.NET with MS-SQL server was deployed to define the system. Beside the front-end, the website also has a comprehensive back-end panel accessed only by the administrator of the site. The back-end provides all necessary functions pertaining to auction and ensure running the service.
