My newspaper and magazine production and layout experience includes art direction for Earth Island Journal, the PCSO Bulletin and Common Ground magazines, and production art for the Pacific Sun, MarinScope, and Marin Express. Software skills: I am fluent in all Adobe CS3 and prior programs (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), both on PC and on Mac, as well as fluent in QuarkXpress, Pagemaker, MSOffice, etc. I am also a digital photographer and illustrator. Previous employment, w/dates: Most recently, I have been working with my own studio, Visigraf, designing and copy editing a novel for a professor in Vienna. From June 2007-April 2008, I produced a monthly newsletter and other graphics for an assisted living facility in San Francisco, Rhoda Goldman Plaza, along with duties as executive assistant. Quarterly, I design and produce a 4-color glossy magazine for the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the PCSO Bulletin. From 2006-2007, I was a professor-instructor of desktop publishing and design in the Technical Writing Program at San Francisco State University.
