Nevertheless, things are heating up for one promising couple and their young daughter; all of whom are highly visible in the public arena. The coppery smell of blood is in the air; permeating some of grimy back alleys and the underbelly of the city. "Thirst for Flame" tells a troubling, behind the scenes story of a hidden, yet disturbingly real segment of today's contemporary society. Two Dallas detectives and a pair of elderly citizen helpers are among those who go along for a ride that often challenges our conventional, comforting perceptions of what the "real" world is like.
