I got my Civil Engineer Diploma in 1970 in Colombia (University of Cartagena) and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering in the United States of America (University of South Carolina) in 1973. I have more than 49 years of experience in all type of projects and responsibilities: Substations, Power Transmission Lines, Hydroelectric Projects, Oil and Gas Projects, Basic Industries Projects, Food Industry, Metro facilities, Hydroelectric Projects, Manufacturing Industries, Inspection of construction Projects and construction management.
In the field of Substations and Power Transmission Lines, I have worked many years in the full range of power, from 13.8 KV, 115 KV, 230 Kv, 400 Kv and the very high power of 800 KV. I also have plenty of experience in Project Coordination and Management.
I have been a consultant for several Engineering and Consulting Companies (Tecnoconsult, Jantesa, Technip…..) and Companies dedicated to the Area of Substations and Power transmission Lines and some of the Area of Equipment fabrication and supply as ABB (SADE, Asea Brown Bovery).
I have experience in management and coordination of multi-disciplinary projects for the petroleum, transportation, energy, manufacturing, mining and hydroelectric sectors.
In 2001, I founded (in Caracas, Venezuela) and managed my own multi-disciplinary engineering consultanting company (Global Outsourcing XXI, C.A.).
Finally, I can adapt myself to different conditions of work, time and culture.
