Telephone evolution through design and contents
The telephone is one of the most essential instrument in contemporary life. It has increased the communication between people. My analysis work begins from a cultural experience at Telephone Museum in San Marcello (AN), Italy. This experience was the starting point of a deep collaboration that gave to me the opportunity to study more than 200 rare telephone of their collection. Through this morphological and geometric study I created a classification that results immediate, clear and interesting for the Museum users. At the same time I developed also an historical timeline that follows the main steps of the telephone history and I created a part of the Museum collection using 3D modeling software. Thanks to all these elements I designed a final digital product that is interactive and can be adapted to several digital supports such as smartphone, tablets, PC and multi-touch tables. This is a sort of online Museum in which users can interact with cultural contents.
