Android app for vehicles Reg & Status verification
This application is only for authorized people like police departments. They just need to capture the image of the number plate of vehicle and then the our algorithm will extract the license number in the form of text from the image and according to that number the information about that vehicle is read from the database on the web server.Application has a feature to update the complain of stolen vehicles too.It makes the investigation fast and efficient.I have used OpenCV for image processing,Tesseract OCR library for optical character recognition, PHP scripts for database reading and an JSON for web connection of application.
