Don’t spend your time fooling with banner ad programs and search engine submission services only to see your counter move a little with no sales. Banner ads seem nice – but generally are not effective. Often, only about 1% (or less!) of the people who see a banner ad will click on it. As for search engine rankings, well you probably already know how difficult that is.
