I have made numerous websites for myself with and without marketing, now let me make yours. In 1998 I was one of 200 contestants in the "Masters Of The Web" 24 hour marathon website design competition. This was a non-stop twenty-four hours conforming to design needs of a non-profit organization for children, of a fully functional community site. Each team worked its own entry. Some teams were companies, and some teams were individuals. I worked by myself and completed the project. It was posted online for several years in the competition gallery. My sites are simple, using resources found online or provided by the client.
