Restomodding a 1995 Nissan 200SX S14 2.0 turbo AT RWD LSD ABS AC to an idealized state: like it should have been when new. And it could have been: everything is made of 1995 available technology, including developed electric supercharger. Supercharger is made out of a hefty 2.5kW starter motor overvolted up to to about 9kW for a few seconds, driving a 1:6 ratio plastic toothed belt step-up drive spinning a centrifugal blower taken from a lorry turbocharger. FAG aerospace angular contact steel ball bearings do 60,000RPM. Bearing alignment method is new. Throttle position controlled charge pressure either 0.2 or 0.8bar at standstill. Stock turbocharger handles the higher output up to about 220kW. This makes the car able to launch at an acceptable rate even when not doing a prepared stall launch.
