Oct. 07 – Jan. 19, 10 Director of Sales Position – covering one city July 2005- Sept. 2006 Director of Sales (Opening Team) – city hotel Feb. 2004 – July 2005 Director of Sales & Marketing (Opening team) – resort property Sept. 2003 – Feb. 2004 Assistant Director of Sales – Corporate and MICE Markets (All regions) May 2003 – Sept. 2003 Senior Sales Manager – Corporate Market (Singapore Market) March 2000 – May 2003 Sales Manager – Corporate Market (Asia Pacific) March 1999 – March 2000 Sales Executive – MICE Market (Southeast Asia regions, East Asia, Middle East, Europe, and local Markets) Sept. 1998 – March 1999 Assistant Sales Manager – Wholesales (European, Singapore, Middle East Markets) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for all of the sales & marketing for the hotel or resort. - Manage the sales & marketing plans, analyzing and set up the strategy and survey the methods to get the most business to the hotel. - Heading the sales & marketing team including Public Relations guidelines. - Search for the competitive reports and surveys for the travelers within the area. - Join program with major credit cards banks to get more businesses to the hotel. - Plan the marketing tools, implementing the plans throughout the sales team in Bangkok and report directly to Singapore Office and owner. - Set the preferred accounts for all markets, wholesalers, MICE, corporate and individuals. - Aim to the travelers who are interested in other joined activities such as golf , adventure, rejuvenation, and/or cultural experiences, etc. - Implement the management themes and ideas to the resort and use it for advertising the hotel. - Responsible for local PR; contact and maintain the relationship with the local PR , press, magazines, and newspapers to publish all the necessaries information and update the news. - Set up the activities and events for the clients to create the awareness of the hotel. - Search for new activities around the area to participate and create more choices for the travelers as the program to stay with the hotel. - Join with the tourism authorities to create more awareness to the overseas accounts. - Managing the sales target and sales visit to the local accounts. - Get in-touch with the overseas clients through telemarketing and try to get them to be involved as much as possible. - Create the corporate, wholesales proposals and contracts to sent out all of the contract rates. - Co-ordinate with the head office in Singapore in coming up with different packages for the resorts to suit different types of travelers. - Participate with all of the local, social events to meet and introduce to new high-end clients and invite them to visit the hotel. - To assure that the hotel could be able to acheive monthly budget or to increase over the budget. - To organize the "Revenue Streams" Report based on individual property on yearly basis. - To organize the business plan for yearly basis and any adds-on actions plan or market strategies in order to adapt to each market situations and economic environment. - To come up with unique and strategic ideas of promotions and approaches towards the market. - To target on the target market to acheive the best results.
