Main responsibilities include creating, designing, maintaining, converting, updating, and releasing a multitude of smart device, desktop, console, and web applications/programs in various programming languages using a combination of various Microsoft Toolsets. Main responsibilities unrelated to programming included gathering specifications from departments, scheduling benchmarks, and scheduling timetables. All new web applications built using ASP.NET MVC (4 and 5) with extensive use of Razor, CSS, Automapper, Javascript, Jquery UI, unit testing (nUnit), Active Directory, LINQ, and error logging (ELMAH). Additional usage of different toolsets based on necessity include ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework (Model First and Code First), Twitter Bootstrap, KnockoutJs, and SignalR. Created IIS for every site (MVC and Web API). Designed a portable device application using .NET Compact Framework 3.5. This application took input via Datawedge plugin, stored information on internal tables, and released data to a web service for verification and processing. In addition to this application, designed a customized web service to process information into existing stored procedures. Maintained and redesign of legacy projects (Console, Desktop, and Website). Most of these projects were originally written in VB6/Visual Basic and ASP.NET Web Forms while others were written using C# (2.0). Converted certain projects from VB 6 and earlier designed C# projects to a current version of C# (4.5). Wrote and maintained SQL stored procedures to aid in maintenance and usability between custom designed applications and P21 server and services, and designed new and improved web, console, mobile, application, and web projects based off of legacy project code. This included building reusable wrappers and class libraries using ADO.NET, SqlDataAdapters, HttpUtility, StreamWriter, and C# (both in 4.0 and 4.5).

Developed a web based application using the ASP.NET MVC3 framework that simultaneously updated multiple databases, contained multiple roles, and provided protected authorization functionality. Prior to the planning phase, started interacting with the source code and database used by the law firm in order to understand the current flow of information. Then, held a number of knowledge transfer meetings with the IT lead for the current system and the main client. Afterwards, an initial plan and technical document was written using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio was used for database diagram design. This document was presented and approved by the IT lead and the client. Using these meetings and the documents created, designed a website from scratch using a simple MVC architecture and a SQL database for use between multiple clients. From the MVC perspective, wrote customized JavaScript (jQuery, jQuery UI, JSON, and AJAX) which were implemented in tandem with customized views and partial views that were written in Razor and HTML. In addition, created customized data models and converters, and unit tests. More so, functionality of application was debugged using Firebug and .NET debug tools. As far as server communication, the controller layer interacted directly to the database with customized LINQ queries. Furthermore, ASP.NET membership provider was used to quickly flush out user and role settings on the database and the site. Even though the site was simple in design and necessity, a SVN repository was installed and used throughout the process to monitor the progress of the site and connected to other internal projects used by client.
