VI Monitor Retail Packaging
Client: Armour Automotive Project: VI Monitor Retail Box Brief: To design the retail packaging for VI Monitor - a new engine monitoring and performance telemetry device for the performance automotive market. Execution: The front of the box was kept very simple - carbon fibre bands top and bottom bleeding into an image of the car being driving fast a night. A folding "book cover" was added to the physical design of the box to allow for more information (detailed features, product over view and a few screen shots) to be provided, but allowing the front of the box to remain plain. An image montage bar showing lifestyle shots of performance cars and car parts was added to the back and wrapped around the two sides to add colour and visual interest as well as to give more visual clues to the intended use of the product.
