Generation profile of Solar PV plant with Battery Storage
A solar PV plant needs to be designed to meet the load requirements of a swimming pool in Australia. The hourly annual irradiation data and the load profile of the swimming pool are collected. Two systems are designed to meet the load requirements. One with solar plant connected to the load & grid and for other battery storage is added in addition to the previous configuration. The MATLAB code produces the solar generation profile, the load requirement, export to the grid (if there is excess generation), consumption from the grid(if low solar generation) and battery charging status. It also shows the load sharing by solar, battery and grid in a pie chart
