Responsive website design for Lovatts Media Group
Lovatts Media Group produces 20 puzzle magazines internationally and complements their print offering with a range of online puzzles. They required a mobile-friendly website to house their new range of HTML5 puzzles which are playable on tablets, smartphones and desktops. Superseded puzzles had been built using Flash technology, therefore were not viewable on iOS devices including iPhones or iPads. The new site delivered a sharp increase mobile traffic (and associated ad revenue).
About Me
I specialise in producing mobile and search engine-friendly websites for small business. My preference is to work in WordPress for its intuitive CMS enabling clients to update websites themselves, however I'm equally confident building sites from the ground up. Additional skills include graphic design, search engine optimisation (SEO) and copywriting. Over the past 14 years I've worked in a variety of creative roles including web designer, graphic designer, online editor and professional copywriter; so I'm capable of taking creative projects from concept to completion. Currently I run my own Sydney-based business, ARK Digital. Copywriting clients have included Lion Nathan and MasterCard. As a designer I've worked on the full gamut of print and online projects including logo & corporate identity, business card & stationery design, brochures, flyers, newsletters, signage, packaging and so on.
