I put words to work. I've written three books, two screenplays, a stageplay and hundreds of published freelance articles on a wide variety of topics, as well as attention-grabbing creative content for clients big and small from around the world. In over 20 years as a writer, I've put pen to paper and flung fingers across keyboards for a fine and fun selection of creative challenges and I like nothing more than providing professional pieces of work for clients who appreciate an experienced creative touch. Scott Stavrou is the author of the critically acclaimed novel Losing Venice (short-listed for the 2019 People's Book Prize) and the satirical fiction collection, Hemingway Lives: the Super-Secret, Never-Before-Published Blogs of Ernest Hemingway, as well as the award-winning travel book Wasted Away, the original stage play Picketing with Prometheus as well as two original screenplays. Author bio: Scott Stavrou has written fiction and non-fiction for numerous publications in the U.S. and Europe and was awarded the PEN America International Hemingway Writing Award for his short fiction "Across the Suburbs". He is from Las Vegas and a graduate of Georgetown University. Before becoming a writer he worked in advertising and PR on some of the world's largest travel & tourism accounts. He has lived and worked as a writer in San Francisco, Venice, Prague, and the Greek islands .
