3D design, modeling, rendering
This is a project I worked on from 2011 - 2013. I invented a filter which could be used to prevent dust from getting into computers. I designed the unit using 3DS Max and built a prototype based on the drawings. The parts of the unit were exported from 3ds Max and used in STL files which allowed them to 3D printed. The images shown are either screenshots of the design process or actual renders I did in 3ds Max of the completed unit. The 3D project was done in order to obtain a patent for the device. The majority of the time was spent in the physical prototype construction not on the 3D Modeling. I hve been using Autocad or Gmax/3ds MAx since the late 1980's when AutoCad first provided basic 3D capabilities
