The Nanaimo Archive Society approached us looking to rebrand slightly. They asked for a word based logo in simple colour(s) and greyscale. We opted to use a clean, modern font for the "Nanaimo" portion of the logo as a subtle way of showing that the city was just as modern, while using a more classic font for the "Archives" portion to emphasize the concept that "archives" is the past. A fusion of new and old as it were.
