ICAC anti-corruption debate shield
This shield was awarded to me after we(my first speaker and I) brilliantly moved along a series(which included over one hundred teams) of debates on corruption and related issues, each time praised for our great debating skills. As the second speaker, I stood out due to my persuasive way of tackling the motion and the statement of the other team's first speaker, according to the jury panel. Skills required for this debate: - Great debating skills, - Confident body language, - Clear and persuasive way of tackling a motion orally (in English) - Speech writing (as a second speaker has to counter-argue the statement of the other team's first speaker on the spot, in this given case I had about 10 minutes to do so for each debate.)
