Network IT Consultants - CVDFire
Near the end of 2011 i got a job in Network IT doing Web Design and managing the online gaming server. One of the projects i worked on was a website called CVDFire, who wanted new text, pages, images and scripts. The website was done within two week.

I have also been given the chance to build and repair computers in the spare time. I've picked up the skills fast and easy in the work place. Work at Network-IT Consultants, Glenmavis, 26/11/11 - 14/12/11 At Network Consultants i was hired to improve customer websites, and manage the gaming server. I gained a few skills at my work placement but not for long as it didn't seem like the right sort of place to be yet. Volunteer, 10/8/11- 20/9/11, LAMH Recycle, Motherwell As a volunteer at LAMH Recycle I was required to improve their website and create a new web site for other services they offered. I learned JavaScript for Web Design and gained customer service skills as I had to greet customers when they came into the reception. CAD Architect's Assistant, 01/2/11 to 5/2/1, Joe Frazer, Motherwell To gain work experience I assisted my father in the family business and gained basic CAD skills whilst working on a project to develop a house design. I learned how to insert walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows and furniture and was able to prove my ability to pick up new skills quickly and work to a deadline. Training: 16+ Learning Hub, CL&D Newarthill, Apr 2011 - 25/10/11 I have been attending the 16+ Learning Hub where I have been working on my employability skills. I have worked on my confidence, team working and time keeping and feel I have progressed to a stage where I am ready for employment. FPS Media Project, Motherwell, August 2011 - 25/10/11 I attend this project on a weekly basis where I am learning film-making skills to create a video showing the journeys young people within North Lanarkshire have made. I gained practical skills in film making and editing, gained team working experience and improved my communication skills by working with new people in a new environment.
