Reset Password Page and Workflow
I worked on both the front end and backend for the new Gilt.com reset password page. It was a large project, that involved several areas of expertise. I was working on a backend email team at the time, but was transitioning to front end, so I took it upon myself to work on the entire flow. It involved the following: - Front-end form to submit user data - RabbitMQ to publish asynchronous events that are non-blocking - Scala backend service, listening to RabbitMQ events with the user data - Email trigger - Email template
