Yasujiro Ozu
Yasujiro Ozu is a well-known Japanese film director and screenwriter. Ozu started his profession in the era of silent films beginning with some minor comedies before turning into more thoughtful themes in the 1930s. Since his death (December 12, 1963), his name has continually grown, and he is considered as one of the greatest powerful directors.
