Hi! My name's Amelie. I'm a native Dutch speaker who's always had a strong passion for the English language though, so I've been reading and writing in English since primary school. I went on to study Dutch and English linguistics in my early twenties and took a teacher training program to teach both languages in secondary school. Over the past few years I've taken an interest in YouTube and other social media. I like to know what lives on the platforms, who's hot and who's not, what the Twittersphere is abuzz with... Additionally, I've gotten into video editing and have regularly worked with Adobe Premiere and Vegas Movie Studio. No crazy special effects, but your basic line edit, colour grade or chroma key are no issue at all. I'm currently busy making music (so I can also provide voice overs and vocals) and writing for a government organisation's website that is set to launch in February 2018, but looking to take up some freelance work on the side.
