Website design
The client for this job was a local skateboard and snowboard retailer, they wished to re-brand their website in accordance with the print advertisement and fliers I had already designed for them to promote them in their winter advertising campaign. The client approached me as I frequent the shop and have been in the skateboard and snowboard industry for a number of years both participating in the sports and working in the retail aspect of it. I took their existing website and retained most of the code as they were mainly looking for a fresher look rather than a complete website re-design. I simplified and brought a more modern look to the website by working within the color palette I had used for the flyers and print ad, and used inspiration from my aforementioned experience as a skateboarder and snowboarder to provide a look and feel that would remain consistent with the retailer's image and appeal to their target demographic.
