The Government of Gujarat has constituted Anjar Area Development Authority, which is commonly known as \"AADA\" for Anjar City with a view to having well planned, modern and systematic approach to the construction and rehabilitation activities of the town after devastating Earthquake by keeping in mind,the future requirements.\n\nWith such devastation, it does not appear to be fare to expect the Urban Local Bodies to be able to cope with the pressing needs of urgent planning and reconstruction of the housing stock, the need for creation of an Area Development Authority was felt necessary.\n\nAnjar Area Development Authority came in to existence with intention of speedy reconstruction, town planning with modern concept & reliable infrastructure, striking a fine balance between the needs & wants of those affected population.
