DC Residence Addition and Interior Renovations. We are submitting for permit in mid August.\nThe program called for two legal parking spaces in the rear yard which gives the addition it\'s distinctive cantilever bump at the 2nd Fl and a roof terrace/lounge creating a small penthouse to enclose the access stair. To maximize the amount of light coming into the house and to provide a psychological release from the long confined row house typology, the rear addition openings are full height doors with flush balcony railings to take advantage of the restrictive site conditions. Small windows at the top stair terrace penthouse ensure vertical air circulation and encouraging natural ventilation throughout the house.

Mr. Hendi brings over 25 years of experience as a designer, architect, and manager to the firm. Areas of expertise include: Design and Planning, Project Management, Documentation, Construction Administration, encompassing new construction, renovation, restoration, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, exhibition, museum, urban planning, community planning, as well as report and feasibility study writing. Client relationship building and marketing skills, building experience, including small and large-scale commercial, institutional, federal/public sector, multi-family residential and senior citizen housing projects.
