Project 1: SLAUGHTER MACHINE, VOTATOR PUMP & CHILLER - 2D & 3D design (July ’07 – Jan ’08) Type of Project: Freelance Project Client: NETTA GELATIN INDIA Ltd, Cochin, KERALA Pin Code 682 036. Role: CAD Engineer. Description: Slaughter machine is heavy machinery, used to kill cow, for crushed bone production. The crushed bone is used for gelatin and DCP (Di-calcium phosphate) production. The votator and chiller unit forms a gelatin noodle system in the plant. The gelatin produced from the plant is for medical purposes. Responsibilities •Designed the slaughter machine and drafted using AUTO-CAD •Done 3D modeling of slaughter machine CATIA-V5 •Designed & prepared complete 3D model of rotator pump implementation using AUTO-CAD, CATIA-V5 •Done the stress analysis of slaughter machine using MSC NASTRAN. •Performed design discussions to collect system requirements. •Rewarded for conducting the flawless execution of project demo to NETTA GELATIN Ltd •Demonstrated technical expertise and commitment in resolving critical product issues and improving the customer satisfaction and meeting the aggressive deadlines •The plant is successfully commissioned and in production now. Project 2: COLLAGEN PEPTIDE PLANT FOR PEPTIDE PRODUCTION. (Jan ’08 – Nov ’08) Type of Project: Freelance Project Client: NETTA GELATIN INDIA Ltd, Cochin, KERALA Pin Code 682 036. Role: CAD Engineer. Description: The plant produces peptide from chemically treated bone (Ossein). The production capacity of plant is 500 ton. The peptide produced from the plant is used for medicinal purposes. Responsibilities •Preparation of engineering flow diagrams for collagen peptide plant. •Preparation of process flow diagram and process & instrumentation drawing (P&ID), equipment drawings, plot plan and process plant layout of collagen peptide plant. •Preparation of electrical drawings for automation of plant. •Generation of general arrangement (GA) drawing & piping isometrics, spool drawings, material take off (MTO) from P&ID and equipment layout. •Pipe routing, sketching & modeling as per the system requirements using P&ID. •Preparation of GA drawings for piping & equipments from 3D model. •Incorporated various change proposal and requirements into the design diagrams during actual implementation process. •The plant is successfully commissioned and in production now. Project 3: FISH PEPTIDE PLANT FOR GELATIN PRODUCTION. (Nov ’08 – may’09) Type of Project: Freelance Project Client: NETTA GELATIN INDIA Ltd, Cochin, KERALA Pin Code 682 036. Role: CAD Engineer. Description: The plant produces peptide from fish skin. The production capacity of the plant is 50 kg. Responsibilities •Studying of engineering flow diagrams of both pilot plant and the production plant. •Preparation of process flow diagram and process & instrumentation drawing (P&ID), equipment drawings, plot plan and process plant layout of new fish peptide plant. •Generation of G.A drawing & piping isometrics, spool drawings, material take off (MTO) from P&ID and equipment layout. •Pipe routing sketching & modeling as per the system requirements using P&ID. •Generation of GA Drawings for piping & equipments from 3D model. •Supervision of piping and mechanical equipment erection, fabrication, testing & commissioning with directions from senior officers of the company. •The plant is successfully commissioned and in production now. Project 4: OSSEIN PLANT FOR GELATIN PRODUCTION. (JUNE’09 – JAN’10) Type of Project: Freelance Project Client: REVA PROTEINS Ltd, PLOT NO.-832(C/o NETTA GELATIN INDIA Ltd), G.I.D.C JHAGADIA, BHARUCH, GUJARAT. Role: CAD Engineer. Description: The plant produces limed ossein and DCP from crushed bone. The ossein produced from the plant is used as row material of gelatin production. The ossein production capacity of plant is 1700 metric ton and the DCP production capacity is 5600 metric ton. Responsibilities •Prepared approximately 200 sheets of Auto CAD drawing for new Ossein production plant. •Preparation of plot plan, process plant layout, PFD and P&ID of new ossein plant. •Prepared civil and structural construction drawings of new plant. •Designed and modeled (3D) diagrams all equipments for new ossien production plant. •Generation of G.A drawing & piping isometrics from P&ID and Equipment layout. •Fabrication & layout drawing of storage tanks and static equipments. •Designed and created assembly drawings, including bills of materials and detail drawings, for collection tanks and storage tanks as per standards (ASME & ANSI). •The plant construction is in progress now. Project 5: MANGO FIBER PLANT. (Feb ’10 – Till date) Type of Project: Freelance Project Client: NETTA GELATIN INDIA Ltd, Cochin, KERALA Pin Code 682 036. Role: CAD Engineer. Description: The plant produces mango fibers from mango pulp. The capacity of plant is 50 kg. Responsibilities •Preparation of plant civil and mechanical drawings. •Preparation of PFD and P&ID, equipment drawings, process plant layout and plot plan. •Generation of G.A drawing & piping isometrics from P&ID and equipment layout. •Designed and modeled (3D) all equipments for mango fiber plant. •Done design & 3D modeling of rough screen, fine screen for Mango fiber filtration. •Done design & 3D modeling of manual press for mango fiber extraction. •Prepared Auto CAD drawing for all equipments of mango fiber plant. •Prepared bills of materials and detail drawings of all machinery. •The plant construction is in progress now. From July 2006 to July 2007. Company : CADD CENTRE, Palarivattom, Cochin-25. Position : Customer Support Engineer (CAD). Responsibilities •Generation of 2D & 3D Drawings. •Resolving critical product issues and improving the customer satisfaction and meeting the aggressive deadlines. •Involved in studying of Engineering Flow Diagrams. •Preparation of PFD and P&ID, Equipment drawings, Plot plan, Process plant layout.
