Freelancer.com uses obsolete video formats, but high resolution versions of all of my videos are available. Contact me!\n\nThe Leidenfrost effect is a very complicated scientific phenomenon in which water droplets explode and evaporate before they reach a superheated surface. After a few calls with an engineer, I was able to illustrate this term as accurately as possible, down to the way the droplets boil, and the way they conserve volume while wetting and spreading. There are also animated graphs and charts, which were carefully designed to take up enough time for translated voice overs.\n\nHere is an edited version of the original video, which was over a minute long. I removed the audio, because the voice over track was distracting when it keeps cutting.
