Data Archive CGI Application
This application is a web archive of data restored from legacy magnet tapes used in research institutes and organizations. These data are stored in the special format (tape image files) recognizable by the system. Application functions as a CGI application interacting with Apache server. Its main goal is to provide the users with a comfortable access to the restored data, which implies not only the storage of data, but also their processing. Depending on the type of data, the system provides different modes of viewing and loading of data: load the data image "as is"; load the data as a TAR archive; view the data in ASCII format (most often the data on the tapes are stored in EBCDIC or 6 bit encoding); view the images generated on the basis of tapes data. The system supports gamma correction of these images; view the file system structure (catalogs and files) for Unix Dump data; view and load the selected files from the TAR archive
