Attached is a screenshot of the current main page/design (will change completely as per the final layouts being sorted out). It is just to give an idea that we use SharePoint as a platform to build our custom requirements rather than a CMS (Content management System) or fileshare. Also I configured/customized service applications(Business Intelligence, Metadata Services, FastSearch, Web Analytics, Intranet/Extranet zones, Single-sign on, VPN-less access, desktop based push notifications) which was a major part as per our need. For some of the features, I developed web parts(in wsp format) that were deployed, which I build based on requirements using Visual Studio 2010/2012. I used lots of Jquery also and most of it was very graphic intensive(Custom Layouts/master pages) built using Designer 2010. We connected SharePoint to other technologies like Oracle Apps, SAP etc.
