Hospital-based zoonotic disease surveillance in Bangladesh: design, field data and difficulties

This was my article on establishing a new system to detect emerging infectious diseases coming from animal to human.

Bangladeshi agricultural workers’ pesticide use practices and awareness and experience with toxicity symptoms

IEDCR

Toxicity experience have been significantly reduced to the farmers who got training and followed instructions of pesticide application and have shower/bathing immediately after spraying. The study reveals that farmers have high exposures to pesticides in surveyed area and are at risk for pesticide poisoning due to lack of training and infrequent use of personal protection during pesticide application.
