Web Design - Generic Online Store
This was my web programming assignment for RMIT university which received full marks on completion. It can be found online here (http://coreteaching01.csit.rmit.edu.au/~s3284620/WP/A2/index.php) hosted by RMIT. Creating a visually pleasing website was not necessary and so I treated it as a secondary task to writing quality code that complied with W3C standards.\n\nThe assignment was a way to get us comfortable with the programming language php as the backend to an e-commerce website. We had to be able to create a working purchase system from viewing an item from the catalogue to completing the checkout where the order was sent away to the admin. The administrator was also required to be able to log in using he\'s account details to both view and clear any orders that had been made.\n \nIf you wish to see that functionality log in here with... \n \nemail: bossman\npassword: bigcheese
About Me
I've spent the past years waiting tables whilst at university and realised it's past time I got stuck into working in my chosen career. I've spent 6 years at university studying a Bachelor of Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Technology. Together these courses have given me a unique set of skills that allow me to see a project through from both the design and technical aspects. Beyond that I hold a strong interest in the marketing and identity of business and how it communicates itself to it's target audience. As such I am aiming to make myself into the one stop point of call for clients to return to as a trusted tool to build their successful business. I have limited freelance experience but I am hungry for it and hope to build up a positive and trusted presence here at freelancer. Give me a go and you won't be disappointed. :)
