Our Night
This was a very time consuming illustration. I wanted to try out a illustration style that was very fun, whimsical and rich in colour. Still Semi cartoonish because of the solid colour blocks yet also filled with details such as soft shadowing, texture and various lighting effects. \n\nWhilst doing this I was also entertaining the idea of telling a narrative in a picture. Things like the dishes left on the table, desert cooking in the oven, flashing red light on the phone to indicate a missed/ignored phone call. I didn\'t necessarily do it well in this illustration but it\'s now something I want to further explore.
About Me
I've spent the past years waiting tables whilst at university and realised it's past time I got stuck into working in my chosen career. I've spent 6 years at university studying a Bachelor of Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Technology. Together these courses have given me a unique set of skills that allow me to see a project through from both the design and technical aspects. Beyond that I hold a strong interest in the marketing and identity of business and how it communicates itself to it's target audience. As such I am aiming to make myself into the one stop point of call for clients to return to as a trusted tool to build their successful business. I have limited freelance experience but I am hungry for it and hope to build up a positive and trusted presence here at freelancer. Give me a go and you won't be disappointed. :)
