DG Magazine - Winning Entry
This was my winning entry into the 2011 national DG Student Design competition here in Australia. The requirement was to design a cover page for DG Magazine that visually referenced a past design style. I chose the Art Deco style and due to my close relationship with coffee centered the design around it. The text under the art deco time period \"Le Cafe Fait L\'Art\" translates from french to \"The Coffee makes the Art\". France being the origin of the style.
About Me
I've spent the past years waiting tables whilst at university and realised it's past time I got stuck into working in my chosen career. I've spent 6 years at university studying a Bachelor of Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Technology. Together these courses have given me a unique set of skills that allow me to see a project through from both the design and technical aspects. Beyond that I hold a strong interest in the marketing and identity of business and how it communicates itself to it's target audience. As such I am aiming to make myself into the one stop point of call for clients to return to as a trusted tool to build their successful business. I have limited freelance experience but I am hungry for it and hope to build up a positive and trusted presence here at freelancer. Give me a go and you won't be disappointed. :)
