Coffee Girl - Realistic Illustration
This was the outcome from chasing after a more realistic style in my illustration. I used many photo\'s from tumblr blogs to try and nail the subtle lighting details that exist in the real world. It was a long time consuming illustration but I think it\'s a fantastic learning exercise. Because it forces you to pay attention to the details you discover all these intricacies in lighting which you can then later incorporate in faster, more simplistic illustration styles. I definitely want to do more like this.
About Me
I've spent the past years waiting tables whilst at university and realised it's past time I got stuck into working in my chosen career. I've spent 6 years at university studying a Bachelor of Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Technology. Together these courses have given me a unique set of skills that allow me to see a project through from both the design and technical aspects. Beyond that I hold a strong interest in the marketing and identity of business and how it communicates itself to it's target audience. As such I am aiming to make myself into the one stop point of call for clients to return to as a trusted tool to build their successful business. I have limited freelance experience but I am hungry for it and hope to build up a positive and trusted presence here at freelancer. Give me a go and you won't be disappointed. :)
