• Electronics hardware design (general electronic device design, PCB layout, schematic capture, thermal analysis); • Understanding of devices and materials as well as their properties; • Knowledge of successful design practices for thermal management including heat transfer modeling, choice of cooling method and heat sink parameters calculation to improve reliability and reduce the device cost; • Understanding of issues related to hardware design; • Using CAD/CAE: FloTHERM (also FloTHERM XT), SolidWorks (including Flow Simulation), HyperLynx Thermal, Altium P-CAD, Mentor PADS, AutoCAD, MathCAD etc
