I'm an Electrical Engineering (professional degree, specialized in TelecommunicationsSignal Processing), hold a Master's degree in EE (thesis topic: signal processing applied to ultrasound imaging), and now am a PhD student in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, studying locomotor learning in humans. I've worked as a Jr. Telecomms Engineer in ANTEL, Uruguay; did an internship in Evolution Robotics (Pasadena, CA); was a Physics Teaching Assistant for 6 years (School of Engineering, Universidad de la Republica, Uruguay) and did an internship at NanoVision Diagnostics (Pittsburgh, PA). I'm also a freelance Spanish-English/English-Spanish translator. I'm a native Spanish speaker, and have C2 level competence in English (CPE,Cambridge University, UK), the highest level according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
