I am a Graduate from University of Sri Jayewardenapura (Colombo, Sri Lanka) with a [login to view URL] Accountancy (Special) (Second Class, Upper Division). Also I am an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA ,4393) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Currently I hold the position of the Accountant at The Fortress Resorts PLC, listed company in Colombo Stock Exchange. I report directly to the General Manager of the resort where I am responsible for activities of the Finance and Administration Department including purchasing and information technology functions. There are 11 staff working under my supervision. Prior to that I was at Ernst & Young (Sri Lanka) for a period of 3 years and 1 month holding the position of an Executive. I was handling audits and other assurance assignments where I directly reported to the audit partner and handled 5-6 staff for a given assignment. During my career as an auditor, a special involvement was made for audits of diversified conglomerates and was involved in reviewing consolidated financial statements.
