I love design, and I applaud anyone who knows good design. In a day and age when ease-of-use technology allows and low budgets force the masses to make their Microsoft® “masterpieces” a commonplace phenomenon, good design is becoming more and more rare.
It’s up to those with the artist’s eye to sift through the rubbish and compose a truly awe-inspiring piece of direct mail, a quilting brochure, store signage or the boss’ daughter’s wedding invitations.
I have been in this industry for 17 years and have seen so many examples of superb, and gut-wrenchingly awful designs. Artistic talent is rarely a learned trait, but inherent in all of us, and that it is up to us to develop these skills as we would a musical talent. It takes practice and knowledge of the craft. Let's work together today.
