Fifty Translations
To truly test the design process, I was given the freedom of choosing one object (inanimate, plant or animal) and then reiterate it fifty different times by playing with the shape, color and technique. I chose a hummingbird, translating it both analog and digitally. I looked at my surroundings, finding new ways to translate my object: push pins on a bulletin board, cut-outs, and even candy.
