Ordinary Chindo
New York is not beautiful under the normal definition of beauty. Valleys of forests have been replaced by rows of metal skyscrapers. Pastures of green don't exist; instead New York has been blessed with an abundance of trash. To be fair, there are gorgeous places in New York; (i.e., Chelsea and the Financial District), but those places are not as exciting as a Williamsburg or as lively as a SOHO. New York excels in its griminess. The best things are hidden from view of the elite. The places to be are in the dark crevices where the tourist's eyes can't see. This is where the magic happens. This is the nucleus of Ordinary Chindo. Bringing the cool to the masses, whether it's unheard of music or bubbling fashion designers because in New York we have been blessed with an abundance of treasure that is yet to be discovered. It was my task to create the brand identity for Ordinary Chindo, a music and fashion blog based in NYC.
