Dear Sir/Madam, I hope you are well. I am a virtual assistant with many skills and talents. My main background is working in the disability and voluntary sector. I have nearly twenty years experience in this field. My main specialism has been disability access and I have designed, developed and delivered a range of disability equality courses. I have experience in administration. I work for a disability charity, who does not have an administrator, therefore we carry out all of our own administrative duties. I provide volunteer research and data entry support for a disability sports charity. I carry out research regarding companies to potentially approach in the local area with regards to fundraising, input these onto a spreadsheet that I have created and then contact the companies via email. I am proficient in all Microsoft Office programs. I currently write, proof-read and edit 200-300 page reports on accessibility. Whilst in my previous role at a disability charity, I was the magazine editor for approximately five years. This included sourcing and editing the articles (where appropriate), writing my own articles and editing the overall magazine. The magazine was 16-20 pages and was produced quarterly. The magazine was disability focussed and looked at all aspects of life that could affect a disabled person, this could be anything from benefits to accessible transport, however, the main focus was about lifestyle and human interest stories. I am a portfolio landlord and have an interest in properties. I manage the properties myself, so this means I have to deal with every aspect. This starts from searching and shortlisting the properties, to arranging the viewings, arranging the surveys and dealing with the solicitors to ensure completion. Then I must advertise and arrange the viewings for perspective tenants and complete the documentation and referencing. I then deal with all aspects of the tenancy from creating a tenancy agreement to ongoing maintenance and when the tenant leaves, ending the tenancy. I have been lucky enough to travel the world playing a disability sport that I love, this has inspired an interest in different cultures and travel. I am a mystery dinner and enjoy eating at a range of restaurants. As part of this, I must provide a report with an objective view of the food, service and all other elements, such as, cleanliness and ambience/atmosphere. As you can see, I am a very busy person and this shows how highly organised and motivated I am. I am methodical and meticulous in my approach to all I do and always do my best.
