Online Rent Payment and Property Management
Quick Overview: This project allowed landlords to manage their property online, and for tenants to view property information.\\n\\nSkills: PHP, Laravel, HTML5, Bootstrap, Rackspace Cloud Computing, ACH Bank Transfer/Payment API, jQuery, Twilio SMS API\\n\\nAnchor Payments allows for online ACH transfers from a tenants account, which would then deposit them directly into a landlords account. The landlord could require rent payments, security deposits, and monthly utilities. It included 2 Factor Authentication, as well as text and e-mail notifications upon receipt of payment.\n\nProject was deployed to Rackspace Cloud and managed behind Load Balancers. Built on Laravel framework with a Bootstrap frontend.
About Me
I am a freelance PHP developer and I have been coding for 5 years now. While I am native to Java, my focus for the last 4 years has been PHP. I am proficient in the Laravel MVC framework, and use it as a base for most projects. While I work more with backend development, I am fluent in HTML, CSS, and jQuery. I have experience with both Bootstrap and Foundation. I also use Wordpress to develop CMS sites for clients. When I am not coding or drinking coffee, I love to surf and swim in lovely Rhode Island!
