The step to start my own business was a big one, but one that I look back on with great fondness. Over the years I built up a strong customer base and healthy business. I employed various designers and developers over my time operating that business and in the end decided to sell it to one of my closest friends who now operates the business. I chose to concentrate on a few projects for myself rather than working for clients on a permanent basis.

I enjoyed working in new media (web design) as a marketing tool that I then worked for a newspaper group in the Midlands. The Burton Mail had various titles, but none of them used the Internet - seems like an eternity ago!
