SnapFood - Android / iOS App
Order food, chat with friends and share special moments with a unique app. Snapfood mission is to bring joy and delicious food to your life whenever you need it. With my team we followed a SCRUM process to deconstruct the requirements, create user stories and epic and start iterating following an MVP oriented approach. We took care of front-end, back-end, quality assurance, project management. The app is developed on the front-end with React Native and Redux, and on the back-end using Python / Django, with some components build in GoLang and distributed as micro-services on a Kubernetes orchestrated Cluster. The application is deployed on both App and Play stores and the API, DB and whole server-side application layer distributed on AWS.
About Me
I'm Michele Cimmino, an Italian Software Architect and Full-Stack Developer, with 13 years of professional experience in software development. I see myself as a perfectionist: at the base of a solid product, there must be concepts like scalability, security, maintainability and a perfect UI/UX design. I approach software development using the Agile principles, and with my teams, I adopt the SCRUM methodology to grant efficiency, quality, communication, coordination, resulting in on time deliveries within the agreed budget. I went from 1 (myself) to 125 employees in 8 years following my approach of organic and sustainable growth. We focus on few new projects per year, and we fail none.
