"Dr. Pratik Kikani is an accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) in 2022, his [login to view URL] in Thermal Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (R.G.P.V.) in 2014, and his B.E. in Production Engineering from GEC, Bhavnagar in 2008. With over a decade of academic, research, and professional experience, Dr. Kikani has made significant contributions to his field. He has authored more than 14 papers in reputed international journals and presented 2 research papers at international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals, including Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A and the Journal of Materials Science Research and Reviews. Dr. Kikani is an active member of several professional organizations, such as the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr), and the International Association of Engineers (ISE). His broad areas of expertise encompass welding, welding simulation, welding metallurgy, and manufacturing technology, with an overarching focus on bridging the gap between theory and industrial practice. As a university-level innovation ambassador, Dr. Kikani has led numerous faculty development programs aimed at fostering innovative thinking and practical applications of engineering concepts.
