Framed - iOS Game
Framed is an iOS/Android puzzle game that was developed using C++ and Open GLES2. My responsibilities involved implementing new features to the existing game, and fixing some pending bugs. I also did some prototyping for future titles that were in the work for the company that developed the game. iOS Store Link - https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/framed/id886565180?mt=8
About Me
Benjamin Wallis has been studying and working as a software developer for 6 years. Having graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT, Melbourne) with a Distinction in a Bachelor of IT (Games and Graphics Programming) in 2011, Benjamin Wallis went on to enroll in a Master of Computer Science. As a part of his postgrad studies, Benjamin Wallis undertook research into the potential use of spatial metrics (normally used in real life applications) in determining the quality of a 3D interactive space (in regards to player enjoyment of that space within a game context). During both his undergrad and postgrad studies, he has taken on the role of a contract/full-time software dev on a number of different projects that span a variety of IT specialties, including mobile applications (both iOS and Android), websites (front and back end) and game development. Benjamin Wallis has also worked as a Tutor at RMIT, teaching 1st year students programming and game dev fundamentals.
